1. Your images.cv Account

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

• Keep your credentials confidential and secure.

• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security incident.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and keys. We are not liable for losses resulting from your failure to secure your account.

2. Limited License & Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for lawful purposes. Any use outside the Services or in violation of dataset-specific licenses is prohibited.

3. Generated Content & Ownership

Ownership. Subject to these Terms and third-party rights, you own outputs you generate through the Services (“Generated Content”). You are responsible for your use of such outputs, including compliance with applicable law and license terms.

No Warranties on Outputs. Outputs may contain inaccuracies or artifacts. They are provided “as is” and are not professional advice nor fit for safety-critical use.

4. User-Uploaded Datasets - Rights & Consents

By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to make that content available via the Services (including any notices or consent for identifiable individuals, minors, or biometric data where applicable). You grant images.cv a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, index, transform (e.g., resizing), and distribute your uploaded content within the platform and associated services.

To request removal for rights or privacy concerns, contact support with details; we may request verification.

5. Dataset Licensing, Attribution & Premium Content

Each dataset indicates its license on the dataset page. Your use must comply with the applicable license and any attribution requirements.

• Provide clear attribution where required (e.g., source name and link).

• Premium datasets are licensed for permitted uses specified at purchase and are not sold.

• Resale, redistribution, or sublicensing of premium content is prohibited unless the license explicitly allows it.

6. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

• Do not upload or generate unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content.

• Do not violate privacy or publicity rights without consent.

• Do not scrape or harvest data in a way that degrades service or bypasses rate limits.

• Do not circumvent billing, tokens, credits, or security controls.

• Do not probe or reverse engineer the Services except via a coordinated disclosure we approve in writing.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. API Terms (Keys, Rate Limits, Security)

API use requires a valid key tied to your account. Keep keys confidential and rotate any exposed keys promptly. We may set or adjust rate limits, quotas, and usage caps at our discretion. API usage is metered to your account and billed per your plan.

8. Tokens, Payments & Refunds

• Token balances, pricing, and expiration windows are shown at purchase time. Expired tokens are not refundable.

• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

• Report billing errors within 14 days. Chargebacks without contacting support may result in suspension.

9. Service Availability, Changes & Deprecation

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows and incidents may occur. We may modify or discontinue features, models, or API endpoints with reasonable notice where feasible and will provide migration guidance for deprecations.

10. Accuracy, Safety & High-Risk Use Disclaimer

The Services and outputs are not designed for safety-critical or high-risk applications (e.g., medical diagnosis, autonomous control, emergency response). Do not rely on outputs where errors could cause harm.

11. Research Use, License Review & Takedowns

Research use. Datasets published on images.cv are intended for non-commercial research, educational use, and academic experimentation in computer vision and machine learning. The free catalog is a research resource; it is not a commercial licensing service.

Review the license before use. Every dataset aggregates images from third-party public sources. You are responsible for reviewing the license of each dataset and each underlying source before using any image in a commercial product, published paper, or redistributable work. images.cv does not grant you a commercial license to any underlying image.

We respond to takedowns. If you believe content infringes your rights, submit a takedown request with: (1) your contact info, (2) the work asserted to be infringed, (3) the URL(s) at issue, (4) a good-faith statement, and (5) a statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act. We acknowledge valid takedown requests within 48 hours and remove the content promptly upon verification. We may request additional verification and we retain logs of takedown activity for audit.

12. Privacy, Data Retention & Analytics

• We process account and usage data as described in our Privacy Policy.

• We may retain logs and backups for security, billing, analytics, and abuse detection.

• We may use de-identified, aggregated metrics to improve the Services.

• You may request account deletion; some records may be retained for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

13. Feedback License

If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant images.cv a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback without obligation to you.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any claim, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through informal discussions. If unresolved, the parties agree to binding arbitration under a reputable administrator. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform or via email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
