Community Guidelines
We want images.cv to be a safe, welcoming place to find and share labeled image datasets for computer vision. These rules help protect contributors, users, and the broader community.
Scope & intent
These guidelines apply to all content uploaded or linked on images.cv, including datasets, metadata, images, and descriptions. Violations may result in content removal or account restrictions.
Not allowed on images.cv
- Sexual content & explicit nudity
Pornographic, sexually suggestive, or exploitative material is prohibited. Non-sexual contexts (e.g., medical, educational) may be allowed if handled appropriately and lawfully.
- Endangering minors
Any content sexualizing or endangering minors is strictly forbidden and will be reported where required.
- Hate, harassment, or violent extremism
Content that incites violence or targets protected classes is not permitted.
- Illegal or dangerous activities
Content that promotes criminal activity, self-harm, or clearly unsafe behavior is disallowed.
- Unlicensed or misrepresented data
Do not upload datasets that you do not have rights to share, or mislabel licensing information.
Contributing datasets - requirements
- Respect licensing & ownership
Provide a correct license for your data, and link to the source when applicable. See dataset licenses for references.
- Quality & labeling
Upload clear images with accurate labels/annotations. Remove duplicates, watermarks, or irrelevant content.
- Privacy
Do not include sensitive personal information or imagery where there's a reasonable expectation of privacy.
- No spam or fraud
Do not manipulate counts, mislead users, or upload auto-generated junk. Keep the platform useful for everyone.
Enforcement & reporting
If content violates these rules, we may remove it and/or limit account access. Repeat or severe violations can result in permanent suspension.
